Spring has finally arrived…….

Spring has finally sprung and as always we are keeping very busy here at Cake, between exhibiting at trade shows up and down the country and developing exciting new products.
One of those products was mentioned last month, they are our delicious Easter Biscuits.........Yip it is that time of year again!
The Easter biscuit is for the ultimate chocoholic - milk chocolate sandwiched between two egg shaped shortcrust biscuits then covered in even more milk chocolate with a decorative scroll of white chocolate!! It wouldn't be Easter with out all that chocolate would it :)
Another new product we have recently launched is the fab Pearl Caramel Shortcake.....This is a shortcake biscuit base with  a thick layer of caramel, topped with triple chocolate coated biscuit balls! It not only tastes fantastic, it looks great on display in your cabinet.
The NPD team have plenty more products they are working on so keep watching this space for more info.
As you know we have just been exhibiting at the Food Expo in Birmingham and had a fantastic few days, lots of exciting leads to follow up and amazing feedback and compliments from people who visited our stand. We thank all who did take the time to come and see us and try our products!
Our next exhibition is Caffe Culture at London Olympia on the 14th & 15th May! We are stand C5 so please pop along and see us!
Other exciting news is that some of our lovely customers have nominated our scones for the Scottish Baker of the year awards.......what a huge compliment that is for our team so thank you very much to all who voted, we will keep you posted on how we get on!
